About the Evening

The Gilded Autumn Ball is the crown of our season — one night when The Grand Ballroom turns to candlelight, brass and gold. Three hundred and twenty guests, a champagne reception under the chandeliers, a five-course autumn menu, and a twelve-piece orchestra that does not believe in empty dance floors.

Come as a couple, bring a table of friends, or let us seat you with wonderful strangers — the Ball has a long tradition of introductions that outlast the season. Dress code is black tie; the doorman has seen every excuse and accepted none.
