Royal Evening's casino-themed events are an entertainment service — elegant evenings built around hosted table experiences. This page explains, openly and plainly, what that means and the rules we hold ourselves to.
1. What Our Themed Events Are
- Hosted roulette, blackjack and poker themed tables run by professional event hosts;
- A symbolic chip and point scoring system — chips have no monetary value, cannot be purchased with money during the event, and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value;
- Light-hearted leaderboards and ceremonial awards (a trophy, a title, a laugh) — never cash or prizes of monetary value;
- Full event production: concept, guest flow, hosts, branding and coordination.
2. What They Are Not
- No real-money play of any kind;
- No buy-ins with monetary value and no payouts;
- No online play — our themed events are in-person entertainment only;
- Not a licensed gaming venue and not intended to imitate one.
3. Adult Audiences
Casino-themed evenings are designed for adult audiences (18+). Hosts may ask for ID at entry where appropriate. Other Royal Evening occasions — galas, supper clubs, garden parties — have their own age guidance listed on each event page.
4. How the Evening Works
- Every guest receives the same allocation of symbolic chips at the start — participation never depends on spending;
- Hosts explain the table rules, keep the pace friendly and make sure newcomers are comfortable;
- Scoring exists to fuel conversation and light competition, and it ends when the evening ends.
5. Our Commitments
- We describe our events accurately in all materials — what you see on this site is what your guests get;
- Alcohol service at our events follows venue licensing and Ontario law, with non-alcoholic options always available;
- Guests can step away from any activity at any time — the evening is built around hospitality first;
- We decline booking requests that ask us to introduce real-money elements. Without exception.
